The Department of Chest & Vascular Surgery has been established since 2003 under the guidance of Prof. Shabbir Haider. Prof. Shabbir Haider has a vast experience extending over 40 years most of which he had in USA and UK. Most of the surgeries carried out by him have been without charges.

Pneumonectomies, Lobectomies, Decortications are a few procedures carried out in GTTH. All vascular surgery including Carotid Endarterectomy have been done besides AV Fistulas. Huge Carotid Tumours and Bye Pass have been operated successfully.
