Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital (GTTH) is a tertiary care charitable Hospital having 650 beds capacity. The charity hospital provides basic and modern health facilities to non-affording patients for free of cost and on subsidized rates for those who can afford. Ghurki hospital is not only providing its state of the art health facilities but also try to maximize the comfort level of patients and their attendants. For this purpose Ghurki Hospital is providing a facility of Musafir Khana for 300 people. You can donate a meal for the admitted patient along with their attendants because we heal others with your help.
Alhamdulillah! By the Grace of Allah Almighty with the support of Philanthropists, Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital has started free of cost treatment of dialysis patients. Ghurki Hospital’s Dialysis Center consists of 15 art dialysis machines where round-the-clock services are being provided for emergency patients. Separate units have been set up for hepatitis B and C patients. In addition to free of cost treatment every month around 300 patients are also being treated on discount but we aim now to onward all deserving patients should be treated free of cost and this will be only possible with your support. In Pakistan every year around 300,000 new cases of cancer patients are diagnosed. The health facilities available in Pakistan to treat cancer patients are limited, therefore, Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital has started the construction of Cyberknife (Robotic Radio Surgery System) the 2nd in Pakistan. Alhamdulillah, now Ghurki Hospital is treating cancerous and non-cancerous patients with the most the modern and advance treatment CYBERKNIFE. This facility has cost around 4 million US Dollars and it has been dedicated to the poor and deserving cancer patients from all over Pakistan irrespective of religion and ethnicity. There are almost 250 Cyberknife Robotic Radio Surgery Systems in the world and the success ratio of the treatment is over 99%. Per patient cost of treatment is around US dollors 50,000/- to 100,000/- in the western world but here in Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital it will be free for deserving patients with your contributions.
Ghurki Hospital has various specialties and is world renowned for its Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Department, where the patients having bone fractures and abnormalities are treated with highly sophisticated instruments and highly skilled professionals. Establishment of Spine Centre in Ghurki Hospital is a blessing for this department under the supervision of Prof. Amer Aziz Chief of Orthopaedic and Spine Center. The Spine Centre has been recognized by AOSPINE International as a Spine Training Center in the Middle East and Africa. AOSPINE International is world’s largest organization of spine surgeons. Fellows from Nigeria, West Indies, Nepal, Philippines and Saudi Arabia have been trained in Ghurki Hospital. Local trainees are flocking into get hands on training. Our Consultants are now on the AOSPINE international faculty conducting / chairing AOSPINE courses abroad including the most prestigious Davos Switzerland course. Addition of 10 modular operation theaters, “State of the Art” CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Dept) and high tech equipment including latest C-Arms, Nerve Conductor, Arthoscope, well equipped lecture hall, Central Air Conditioning and electric automated patient beds are the salient features of this Spine Centre.
