Department of Medicine, Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital Lahore in collaboration with PSIM ( Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine ) and CCL Pharmaceuticals Ltd, successfully organized a comprehensive ECG Interpretation Workshop on 15th January 2026, aimed at enhancing the diagnostic skills of young doctors in clinical cardiology. The workshop was attended enthusiastically by house officers and postgraduate residents.

The academic sessions were led by distinguished faculty members. Professor Dr Asadullah Ijaz discussed the recognition of acute and chronic ischemic changes on ECG, emphasizing real-life clinical scenarios and their practical implications. Associate Professor Dr Sohail Nasir delivered an insightful lecture focusing on a systematic approach to ECG interpretation. Associate Professor Dr Syed Khurram Shehzad Kazmi elaborated on arrhythmias and conduction abnormalities, providing practical tips for bedside application.
